Virley Mckinney Jr. is a Civil Engineer (E.I.T) who has been practicing professionally since 2012. He obtained a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Tallahassee Florida in December 2012. His interest for road constructing developed during his first major project as a Site Engineer at the Freeport Container Port where he oversaw the installation of over 30,000 tons placed by Bahamas Hot Mix (Dec 2013). Upon completion of the Container Port project, Virley returned to Grand Bahama and oversaw the installation of over 20,000 tons placed by Bahamas Hot Mix during the Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project (Dec 2016). Having acquired the experience of road design and construction during the course of both projects Virley decided to take the entrepreneurial jump toward a design-build road construction company. Asphalt Maintenance Paving & Testing Company is currently engaged in small to medium size paving and maintenance jobs including: road paving, trench reinstatement, driveway paving, seal coating, striping, drainage maintenance and curbing.
