Requirements for The OWN Foundation Grant Funding Program application are listed below:
Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start your business.
(All applicants must be Bahamian citizens age 18 years or older)
Company Overview: A description of your product(s) or service(s) and the problem it solves, the target customers that you want to serve and why your business is right for the market
Financial Projections: Your anticipated revenue for the first 12 months and your annual projected earnings for the next two years. (If you have an existing business, please also indicate your previous earnings for the pass two to five years)
Request for Funding: The amount of money that you need to set up or grow your business and how you plan to use those funds to build or expand your business.
The OWN Bahamas selection committee will review each application in detail and shortlist candidates for a formal interview. After the interviews are completed, successful applicants will be announced publicly
We reserve the right to use any/all information submitted for PR purposes to enhance future growth of the Foundation. We reserve the right to revoke grant if information submitted is fraudulent in nature. Judges decision is final. Submissions will receive a response within 30 days of submission. Submissions are not guaranteed approval.
